Creative Partnership – Let the journey begin!

Welcome to the partnership! We hope you had a good session today. This is a place to share some of the ideas you had after the meeting and to post anything you think may be interesting. Soon you will all have full access to this site so please start thinking about how you want to use it?

Your learners will also be able to collaborate here so think about how you want to set that out?

  1. Really looking forward to getting started and learning how to abolish my comfort zone! It sounds amazing. If I can help develop some of my chosen children to be half as confident as the Lings Ambassadors were yesterday I will be thrilled.

    • Our children are an absolute credit to Lings and they set the standard! They have had a diet of this creative connected curriculum for four years and will have many more. I will pass on your positive comment, thanks!

    • If I could ‘like’ your comment about the children of Lings Primary then I would do so. They were articulate, enthusiastic about the project and full of confidence, which arose from a total faith in what they were sharing. A great example to motivate other children to take up the gauntlet.

  2. Looking forward to the fantastic opportunities presented with this project… Particularly the Star Wars marathon event! Excited me is! (Read in voice of Yoda). Light sabres at the ready…

  3. Have so many jealous colleagues! This project encapsulates my vision of how teaching and learning should be. Let’s blaze a trail and bring back creative thought and process back to our children. I am so excited!

    • As well. I truly believe we can do something special if we just remember that we have to fail to succeed. I feel that creativity is as important as Literacy – Ken Robinson!

  4. Can’t wait to get started on this project. Shared some of the ideas from the meeting with a few colleagues back at school and they were equally as excited/jealous. Thank you for this opportunity. ‘Creativity is contagious, pass it on’ (Einstein-not me)

  5. I am so excited about the next year ahead. Some of the things that were being talked about will be definitely out of my comfort zone, but what is the point of being a teacher if you are not going to expand your horizons and learn just like we all encourage our own pupils to do so?
I think this is an exciting project and I am thrilled that I am going to be part of it.

  6. Looking forward to all the exciting events ahead and sharing them with our children. At times I will be out of my comfort zone but will think of the children I have taught who have pushed themselves to try new things and achieved something great!

  7. We are so thrilled to be part of this exciting, creative journey. Tap shoes, jazz hands and creative minds at the ready!
